Since 2005, the project Sissikontest connects Michael Eberli , Marco Crosina and performance artist Michael Blättler.

The band offers an effortless electronic-acoustic blend beyond klischees. The music commutes elegantly between song and track, folk-elements fit in just as does elektrofunk.

Sissikontest offers sophistication in a broad stilistic range that assembles fragments found in Chicago as well as Wilheim, in datapop as well as club culture with aplomb.

 The trademarks of Sissikontest are their spirited performances, their dynamic shifts from fragile sound scapes to raw guitar noize. They are technically complex, stylish in their effect handling meticulous with detail and still brazenly laid-back – even live.
